S4XP Battery performance drop - Need new, advice please

I think my laptop battery is starting to give up, no way is it holding its charge as long. I've had a years constant used out of it so its not too bad.

No way am i paying for genuine sony one but i am unsure whether to go for a standard VGP-BPS2 equivalent or the more powerful VGP-BPL2 equivalent.

I'd love more power but it looks bigger and heavier and im not sure i fancy having a battery that sticks out at the back. Has anyone used the VGP-BPL2?

I'll no doubt have to disable that ISBMgr.exe

Yes you would have to do that.

Also remember in tempretures the battery isn't as good, I find in winter my battery lasts longer
