Graphic Shared Ram??

How can i change the Graphic shared ram from 10 to 128 @ a Vaio VGN-FS485B ???

I bought it yesterday and need this...
Cause I got an DriectX Error if i try to start a Game.

Hi Dakapo,

I would never buy a laptop for gaming and definately not one that uses shared memory.

I am unfamiliar with your machine but either there will be an option in Notebook setup (Control Panel) or the Bios.

Failing that it may just be a case that it is dependant on the total amount of RAM installed in the machine.

I don`t want to play with it..I know that a Notebook isn`t designed for gaming, but im an Admin at a League and want to spectate matches with my Notebook at one side..and work with my Workstation at the otherside.

P.s: The problem is actual
Theres nothing in Bios or the Vaio tool to change th shared RAM

Hi DaKapo,

You can't manually allocate memory to the Intel Graphics - Intel use a system where memory is automatically allocated according to the demands of the applications being run.

If you still have the original 512MB of RAM, you may wish to consider adding another 512MB because you may not have enough free to allocate the full 128MB to the Intel Graphics.

Just max out at 2048Mb RAM
