      <title>Need Help!! VGN-A115B dont Boot after RAM Upgrade</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;So i hope anyone can help me to Fix my Problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a 2 years old Sony Vaio VGN-A115B (the Guarantee is expired last Month). So i have bought two compatible 512MB &lt;BR /&gt;RAM blocks. I have put old Infineon out and place the new one to the slots. So i will start my Computer but he Stops on Windows XP Start up Screen. The Bar freeze before he starts Windows...I change the new one and put the old RAM Blocks back. but nothing changes. Windows XP Freeze at the same time. &lt;BR /&gt;If tried "safe Modus", "Promt with or without Network", "Last working configuration but nothing changes, too. Original Sony Vaio System Recovery works, but after formatting the HardDrive Windows Freeze again. Windows 98 or 95 Don´t work too.&lt;BR /&gt;The only Operating System that works is Knoppix in the expert26 version.&lt;BR /&gt;PS: the Bios show me the available RAM in any Option 1024MB or 512MB.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in forward for your help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried every RAM seperatly. &lt;BR /&gt;The Support told me he can´t  help me with my  Problem so i have to send it to Vaiosupport. &lt;BR /&gt;It s wierd that the old RAM´s don´t work too. just in Linux&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PS: The RAM´s was specification for the A115B And works great in an other Vaio A115B. Yes it was PC2700S  DDR333&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
