I have two particular problems.<BR /><BR />I have tried a few version of linux. Now my problem is particulalry related with Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (2.6.9-34.EL). Any suggetions on other linux is welcomed.<BR /><BR />1. I cannot take advantage of the Duo core processor. My install only runs on EL not ELsmp. <BR />2. I cannot take advantage of NVIDIA Geforce Go 7400. The driver only supoort 1024X700. the sound and video and everything else is not supported. <BR /><BR />I have checked with NVIDIA and rebuild a driver is appears not works with kenel 2.6.9...<BR /><BR />what a wast! Although Windows is the prevalent OS, Linux is becoming, rapidly, a real alternative. <BR /><BR />May be Sony, because of its marketing policies, doesn't want to be associated with "free" software.
