What kind of Max Performance. in case of power settings i did.

I didn't have much time, but this is what i find out until now.

On linux. Until now I think it’s a problem according the IEEE 802.11b (11Mbit) standard. There is an unsolved bug in the driver that can be found here. On IEEE 802.11a (54Mbit) it Works fine (until now )

On windows I didn’t try to find out the problem yet

Hi, I just boght a new vaio VGN-FE21H and I have some trouble with my wireless.

On windows I get connection for a few sec and that’s it. Connection lost. I try the new intel 3945ABG drivers. No change.

On linux. Installed successfully the opensource drivers. Get connection and dhcp but I lose my connection again. When I ping a internet address after a while it will be back and down again :s

All other different notebooks work fine on the network. Nothing special, no encryption just a default network. I haven’t the time jet to tryout on another network but it shouldn’t be the problem I guess.

Has someone experience with this problem or is it just broken?
