Vaio Care updating ???

I don't appear to get updates, every time I go into Vaio Care it says there is an update. I can start the process and it goes through to the Windows installer popup which opens, runs and disappears after a while, but there is no update ?

I am currently running version 7.3.1.05290.

I also get a file missing error when the laptop is started up, see the attachment.

I'm running Windows 7 Home premium with SP1.

Hi Hardy2CR,

These are both problems of which Sony is aware. No solution offered to date but your post has been added to the escalation.

Interestingly the script engine referred to in the original post attachement, does exist where Vaio Care expects to find it ??

"C:\ProgramData\Sony Corporation\VAIO Care\DelSelfPatch.vbs"

Can you let us know whether you have already contacted Tech Support on this (0844 846 6555)? The reason for asking is to avoid duplication of cases.
