SVS13A3C5E Keyboard problem

I have a keyboard problem on my laptop. when I type I get a repeating key. This seems to be intermittant but mostly happpens with my p key especially when I type the word "type" it comes out as "typpe"

Is this a driver or hardware problem?

This is a brand new laptop straight out of the factory as I havent had much chance to install my software on it yet.

Hi pjnet,

This is almost certainly a hardware problem if only a few keys are affected and you should contact Support using the link at the top of this page.

That said, you could first investigate the ‘Repeat delay’ settings in Control Panel > Keyboard > Speed tab – try moving the slider towards ‘Long’. This is possibly something that Support will ask you to try anyway.
