Alpha 900 in der Antarktis

Einen sehr interessanten Reise- und Erfahrungsbericht mit Vergleichen zu anderen Kameras findet man (leider nur auf Englisch) hier.

Das Fazit des Autors ist, dass die Alpha 900 für den professionellen Einsatz sehr gut geeignet ist und das beste Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis im Markt der semi- und professionellen DSLRs bietet. Hier mal ein kurzer Auszug aus seiner Bewertung:

of all cameras and of the four cameras ahead of it two offer only half the
resolution and the other two cost between two and three times as much.

What about features and

Antarctica, all without a hint of problem, I can say that the Sony body and
lenses offer all the ruggedness that most people need, and as for features,
while not being the most feature laden, they do have such niceties as in-body
stabilization and sensor dust shake removal, which the class-leading D3x

Hallo Leute,

auf der verlinkten Website gibt es eine Reihe neuer Fotos aus der Alpha 900. Sehr beeindruckend, nicht nur wegen der Kamera, auch wegen der Antarktis. Seht mal selbst!

Ja da wird man ganz neidisch! Find auch immer diese Reportagen über die Antarktis toll, da sind ne Menge Fotomotive. Find vor allem immer fantastisch wie die Tierwelt dort unten reagiert - auch schön zu sehen an dem Seehund.

Leider ist dort unten ja zur Zeit Sommer und scheinbar immer gutes Licht, so das die Bilder keinen Aufschluss über das Rauschverhalten bei hohen ISO Zahlen zulassen - muss aber auch nicht, ist auch so beeindruckend.
