New HT-CT80 soundbar issue w/ new Bravia KD55XD8577SU

Hi guys,

We have setup this new TV & all is working fine.

The supplied optical cable goes from the Optical Out on the TV to the Optical In on the  soundbar.

We have the Subwoofer connected to the soundbar with the supplied cable.

Issues/queries:

1)When using a Smart TV Android Usb stick to view movies the soundbar will go extremely (deafeningly) loud

2) When watching normal TV I can't seem to get the sound bar to go above a certain (very low) noise level, regardless of how high the TV is... I keep pressing + on handset & the volumne doesn't go very high.  It will go lower. so is there max level?

2) After pressing as above (higher or lower) three lights flash (Optical; Analogue & USB) all together - is this telling me that I've reached the limit? it's not mentioned anywhere in the manual.

Thanks for any help & advice,

Jtk

Hi there

Are you controlling the volume on the TV using the TV remote or the soundbar remote?

Also, in the Advance Sound Settings on the tv, try adjusting the 'Digital audio out volume'

On the soundbar, ensure that night mode is set to off.

Im not sure either on why the 3 lights flash

Cheers
