XH90 Bravia Sync/HDMI control not working with PS5

I have been using my PS5 with my XH92 (KD65XH9296BU) with PS5 for almost a year with no issues. Software upgraded last year to allow 120hz refresh rate, this works fine with supported PS5 games. I have now had to factory reset the tv 4 times as the HDMI control/Bravia Sync on port 3 (e-ARC) just randomly stops working. PS5 won’t switch on TV as it did before and the input label which usually shows the PS5 symbol has changed to ‘HDMI 3/eARC’ and sometimes displays as ‘playback1’ or ‘playback3’. The Bravia Sync device list says no devices found. Have tried clearing system apps cache, turning Bravia sync on and off, changing HDMI ports, soft tv resets, checked PS5 settings, checked external device setup, all with no luck. Really disappointed as this TV was marketed by Sony as the future proof best tv for PS5 at the time!

Hi @Pablo89, have you tried using a different HDMI cable to check, also does it happen on other external devices? as in set up boxes/Consoles or is it just the PS5?

Having same problem on x90j Bravia sync works with soundbar Blu-ray player and PS4 but not picking up a PS5...? I have tried resetting TV unplugging PlayStation waiting going back in turning sync on and off on both devices still nothing....??? Picture showing TV finding everything but HDMI 4 for PS5.

  It use to work then nothing can't find..
