Android wear app causes WiFi to turn off automatically

am facing an issue with android wear app on my Xperia c5 ultra android 6.0. The problem occurred sometime after the latest update. The wifi turns off automatically as soon as i turn it on. this may be a compatibility issue or a bug i dont know quite frankly but i am facing this issue which i want your help to resolve.
i have attached drive links for screen recording of my phone before installing android wear, whilst android wear is installed and after it is uninstalled.
i have already reset my watch to factory settings a few times but it dosn`t seem to work as in reality that isn't the problem at all my watch is connecting fine to other devices with android wear as well.
The main problem as you would see in the videos attached is the android wear app itself in the phone. I have also factory reset my phone and done everything i could to rectify the prob myself.

Video one (Screen record_2016-11-18-22-56-25.mp4) is the occurence of the problem. first it begins with android wear not being installed in the phone and wifi works fine. then i install android wear and the wifi ceases to start. then i uninstall the app and restart my phone.
I had to get a different video for after my phone restarted for obvious reason that screen recording will stop when i turn off my device.
The second video (screenrecord_2016-11-18-23-04-43.mp4) starts off as i restart my device and then turn on the wifi and the wifi starts normally.

Hoping to see some solution to this soon. please revert to me as soon as possible as i dont want an investment in android wear to be a waste of my money as the android watch is useless without the android wear app on the phone.
thank you

Hi @Vedmahajan,

Welcome to the community. Than you for this information, very detailed and informative.

Because Android Wear is developed by Google, it will be up to them to update the app to resolve this. I recommend you contact them about this: apps-help@google.com

Yes i already have but they are saying that they are positive that its my phone which is the problem and i sould contact you to resolve my problem.

if it helps me can you yourself test the isssue and send a detailed and professional review to google on my behalf. as i am sure you could rectify the problem as well as explain it better than i could.

thank you

This problem is known for a long time and a lot of complaints from people with C5 Ultra after the upgrade to Android 6.0
On 5.1 was all right. At 6.0 problem. At the same forum, said a lot about this, but there is still no solution. The problem in the firmware of Android 6.0 Sony. On my Z1 all Sony Xperia to 6.0 everything works fine, but on the C5 Ultra problem.Ya evil and forced to keep a watch Sonya SmartVach 3 on the shelf because of the constant breaks Wi-Fi and BT

Correct and the problem is faced by many people as i can see on the comments section of android wear app download page. and the problem is not just with sony maybe i saw someone with a samsung device as well complaining this sort of thing after the latest update

@Vedmahajan,

I could agree that the issue is unique to this phone, but the problem is Sony have no way to adjust the app to make it compatible, as it's developed by Google, not Sony.

Our devs do check the forums here so if there's something to be fixed in the firmware they should be able to identify it.

Hello:

I have the same problem with my C5 ultra. I could resolved it now. Go to "Advanced Wi-Fi" --> "Scanning always available" , close it! Then it works in my C5 Ultra.

Hopefully, this is helping you.
