c4 turns on and off when charging

i bought my c4 9 months ago and last month I had been experiencing battery drain. Today my phone just died and when you connect to the chager it turns on and off. I brought it to where I bough it and they said they will send it to the Sony shop. I am wondering what's the problem and how long it may take to be fixed. thanks

I'm afraid that it will be hard for me to answer what the cause of this may be, your device will need to be examined at an authorized service centre at first.
