hi good day, i have a problem with my c5 ultra, it started 2days ago, it suddenly freezes or screen turns off and the unit is not responding,so i use the master reset button to turn it off then turn on again. it will function normally but the problem will come again, sometimes even if the phone is idle it will come like that. i removed several apps to free some space in the internal memoy,i also tried booting it to safe mode but the problem is still there. i also tried removing the sim and sd card but the problem was not solve. pls help me with this thank you
Hi @yopej,
I'm sorry to hear that. If you have already tried to remove the SD- and SIM-card from your device as well as rebooting it to safe mode, I would recommend that you try and do a software repair using Xperia Companion.
If the same behavior persists I'd say that this is related to the phones hardware and I'd recommend that you have your device sent in to an authorized service center for further examination. For more information on how to have your device sent in you can contact your Local support. They can also assist you with any question you may have regarding service procedures in your country.
Let me know hope it works out!
dont worry ,its marsmellow 6 problems ,i had the sames problems after update...i think that they need to make a fix for C5 ultra ....dont hear about hardware problems...its the bad programming from company ....i hope ,they release a fix one day and if not ,i will never buy sony xperia again !!!
all the time you write the same things about regulars problems after update to android 6.0 ..why with the 5.0 lollipop everything was ok ? suddenly most of C5 ultra broken after update to 6.0 cause of a hardware ? thats a lie ....make a fix for C5 and stop write to all the same things ...its boring !!
@georgetsl this is a user based forum, what you read here is fruit of user experience and believe what most of us are posting here. There is no lie in a software update provoking hardware issues... Considering that bad software can drive hardware to misbehave. If you think we are boring you, feel free to avoid participating but don't post comments that are not constructive.
But as you see so far, there is nothing constructive.... Αlso as you see I'm not participate on boring discussion , it was my first comment, and this is my last...there is nothing constructive here for me and many many others cause the number of posts don't lie.
@georgetsl probably this entire thread is not constructive but I can tell you there are many others that explain with details the issue of the software update for the C5, all the symptoms and all the way to fix them. Saying things like "Sony fix it otherwise I'll stop buying your phones" that's not constructive.
