USB connection as mass storage

Every other sony phone I have used including the T and Z1 all have the option to to connect the sd card as mass storage or mtp with a menu option. I cannot find any such option on the C4 and find the mtp mode very very slow, can I get mass storage or am I stuck with having to remove the card and using a reader ?

MSC has been removed from newer Xperia models, MTP is the only mode available for connection with PC.

Hi,

I cannot find the USB setting menu on Xperia C4. I would need to set and USB charge only mode.

Indeed when i plug my cell phone on the office computer, a lot of warning message happen because the phone is actually trying to mount sdcard and internal memory as a data drive (which is blocked by my office computer)

I was hoping to find connectivity preferences under settings> Xperia connectivity > USB connectivity

reaching USB connectivity section i can only choose to activate or not auto install of phone software.

I deactivated that auto install but it does not result in charge only mode.

Is there a workaround for this ?

Thanks
