Can’t find battery for Cybershot DSC-RX100 M3 . Duracell direct battery does not fit.

1. Hi. I had the same problem, I suspect your original battery is the  "info lithiam" version. I believe sony sells them for around £80 Regards D

I am online trying to find the battery on the Sony website- failed completely. No  list of batteries

The  £80  Sony battery what was the  approx date for this?

MY existing Sony battery is a NP-FR1 which Duracell Direct said was obsolete. The battery that Duracell  supplied

had 4 contacts instead of the 3 on the existing battery. I rejected this battery on visual inspection only.

I was quoting the battery number   from the wrong camera.

The battery from Duracell Direct works fine.  Just got to find instruction book to charge the battery

i am too old!!!

Hi. I'm away from home at the moment so can't check the battery number, but I know the battery from my modern Alpha A65 fits my 22 year old sony DSC-S70 . I tried a Duracell it didn't work because it wasn't "info lithiam" have a look at the Sony Alpha a65 battery images. (The Duracel worked in the Alpha a65)
