Hello,
How long can I record video 1920 x 1080, 50 Mbps (XAVC S) with a new battery?
(continuous 29 minutes parts (or as long as possible), LCD medium bright, no zooming)

Thank you!

Hi pecany,
You can select the recording format from the settings as you wish as shown in the manual here: helpguide.sony.net/dsc/1530/v1/en/contents/TP0001087132.html

Thank you, I'm looking forward to your answer.
Thanks I had already checked the manual, but it didn't answer my question.
Hello @pecany,
your camera is a photo camera and can never record for longer than 29 minutes at a time. Then you have to re-start the recording.
It will record for around two of these clips on one battery.
Make sure to switch off WiFi-functionality of the camera, since that can drain a lot of power as well.

Thank you, Nic.
About two clips – that's what I wanted to know.
So probably no need to change batteries when the performance is about 48 minutes –
that would have been stressful...
(I don't use Wi-Fi at all.)
