How to mount the HX60 to a tripod without covering the HDMI port?

The HDMI port on the HX60 is on the bottom of the camera close to the tripod mount. This means that when the camera is fixed to a tripod in the normal way, using a flat mount, the port is covered and cannot be accessed. I need to use the HDMI port in order to connect a field monitor. What is the best solution to this problem?
