Soundbar HT-ST5000 switches HDMI

Hello.

My setup is TV 55XE9005 and soundbar HT-ST5000 (connected with HDMI ARC). Both with latest updates.

Everything is working well but when I connect my set-top box (cable) to the soundbar via HDMI (HDMI 1), I face this problem:

The soundbar always changes the input from "TV" to the HDMI 1 where my set-top box is connected. If I change it back to "TV" the soundbar switches it back to HDMI 1 after I turn the soundbar off and on again.

Is there a way to keep the "TV" selection always on?

Welcome to our community!

I'd like to suggest a slightly different connection map. Since you're already using HDMI ARC for connection, could you try to connect the set-top  box into the TV instead of connecting it to the sound bar?
