Black rectangular line in the middle of mt=y bravia tv

Hi there,

I have had my Sony Bravia TV for  sometime now but I have never had any problem with  it but suddenly on Saturday evening after few moments of power fluctutations there is a black rectangular appearing right in ther  in the middle of the screen wihich wont go away . I have tried to switch the tv on and off, restore factory settings but the problem wont go away . Can you advise me please ,

Do you have any photos of the black line?

Thanks for  the advice . I have contacted  Sony and they have promised to look into the issue for me .

My only advice is that you're doing the best thing contacting Support.

That definately looks like a hardware repair job.
