I've recently moved back from the USA to ireland where I purchased the Sony KD55X720E. I'm currently using this TV locally with a 110v-60hz power converter. The back label of the TV, forums and documentation are stating that this TV can be used with a converter on regular 220-240 50hz mains. Could anyone kindly confirm if ***** safe to plug in my TV with US power cord into a regular Ireland 230v - 50hz power (with travel adapter)?

See picture of the back of the TV, which makes me think it could work without a power converter - however I'm afraid to take the risk.
