Arrgh annoying vaio launcher plez help!!

hi all, im using a fs vaio laptop which is workin completly fine except during gaming the vaio launcher keeps comin up. Not only is this annoyin but it also slows gameplay.

Can anyone help? plez there must be a way of turning it off or uninstalling it. ive tried looking for it in add/remove prog but its not there.

Is there no option to deactivate the VAIO-launcher? Have you looked at the manual. I can't help you here, Because I don't have a VAIO-launcher.

yea seriously ive looked everywhere. Its stupid this laptop was designed for entertainment, games etc why wud sony have no option to turn off vaio launcher

Any ideas to a solution?

LOL, I have a PCG-FR315S which is 2 years old. It comes without VAIO-Launcher, without VAIO-Zone and some other new SonySoftware. And I can't download anything of this. I don't know why Sony makes no Software updates for older laptops. The only one which is new, is the useless VAIO-media Software and SonicStage2.3.

I think you get the same problem, if you laptop is 2 years old.:smileysad:

Nope, mines a brand spanking new sony FS(new series) so i got all software updates though to be honest anything that ive got that u havent is probably just junk anyway: vaio launcher(completly pointless and annoying)

On your Vaio Launcher, there is a small triangle in the upper right corner, as soon as your mouse passes over it.

Click it.

Then hit "settings" and uncheck the checkbox that says something about "Autostart" (should be the only checkbox there).

Click "OK".

Reboot your computer.

Sony didn't bother to include an uninstall option for Vaio Launcher (What? Somebody wants to uninstall one of our products? Why would anyone want to do that?!)

However, once restarted, Vaio Launcher should no longer bother you.

You have misunderstood me.

I love my VAIO too. And true you new VAIO is up to date. My VAIO comes with all software too! But now it gives VAIO-launcher and VAIO-Zone. And I can't update my VAIO with this Software.

Because, Sony thinks it's better you buy a new VAIO:smileysmug:
You will notice, maybe in two years.:smileytalk_to_the_hand:
