Hi all,
I am the glad owner of a Vaio VGN S2HP laptop that went into trouble a few days ago : my keyboard space key is now broken after one of my folders decided to fall from a shelf directly onto it. The keyboard itself is still fine (the space button works OK) but the tiny plastic bits that once held the key to the keyboard are now dead. Does any of you have an idea to try and fix it? Do you know of some companies that sell spare parts for Sony laptops?
Thanks for your help,
Cheers,
Pierre.
In the first instance I would try Sony support. If you have no joy there then you will probably have to source the part from the US.
Hi Rich,
Unfortunately, Sony can not do anything for me unless I am ready to pay about 400 euros to have the keyboard fixed. Do you have any idea of an American company I may contact to get hold of a new keyboard to rescue my poor computer ?
Thanks,
Pierre.
