I have had my vaio k215z just under 1 week now, and I have notice that I have a dead pixel which always displays light blue, which is pretty annoying. Is one dead pixel enough to get upset about and try and get it dixed under the warranty?
In the Windows Help and Support Centre, Sony have an offline troubleshooter. In there, under LCD screens, they mentioned their dead pixel policy - and suggested lightly polishing the screen with a clean dry soft cloth to remove dirt, as dust etc can create the effect of a dead pixel...
Yes dirt has done that to me a few times.
