on a PCG F305, with WIN2000, i can't use function button "fn" and the three buttons on top.

And i got a error msg " PPK serveur isn't start, restart your computer"

Make sure you install the hotkey utility from your recovery CD. (Last one of the set)

The drivers for it should be still on VAIO-Link.com

I known that, and i have used its but my vaio can't find the PKK server when it start. If you have a idea ...........

PPK Server.... have you installed Sony Notebook Setup?

Have you checked in Device Manager to see if you have a device listed as `Other¿ ie unknown device. If so you need to update the driver but this requires knowing the location of the driver or .inf file for the Programmable Power Keys (possibly in SonyNC).

Apparently it is the driver of keyboard that misses. It is not that of SonyNC. If you have an idea.
