G11VN - Vista Bitlocker Problem - BIOS Update available

I'm not quite sure why Vaio Germany/Europe didn't publish this BIOS Update yet but here is a direct link to the website you can download it:

This BIOS Update for the G11 series is supposed to solve a couple of TPM/Bitlocker Vista issues. I didn't update my G11VN yet to see if it really helps but I plan to do that tonight.

A little update on my G11VN experience: I LOVE my G11VN, honestly, it is a great laptop and despite the Core Solo processor pretty fast. Battery life is absolutely great for the weight of the G11, I usually get at least 5 hours out of the battery, with 100% display brightness and permanent WLan usage. My Vaio TX27N (US version of TX5) with EXTENDED battery lasts only one hour longer and the extended battery makes it very heavy.
Overall, the G11VN is my favourite laptop for business stuff right now but I wish it had a Core Duo processor and maybe a "switchable" graphics adapter (like on the SZ series).
I also own a LG A1 laptop and although the battery lasts only 3 hours at a slightly higher weight than the G11, it uses a Core Duo ULV processor and a dedicated GeForce Go 7300 graphics adapter with 64 MB (more is taken as needed from the main RAM). This little baby runs now with Vista Ultimate and 3GB(!) RAM and I love it too but regarding style, weight and battery life, the G11VN still rocks.

Do you hear me, SONY? Build a G11 with Core Duo processor and a GeForce 7300 graphics adapter with the SAME battery life and I buy it immediately.

OK, funny enough, Vaio Germany/Europe still didn't make this BIOS update available, strange.
I already installed it a week or so ago and it works, no more Bitlocker problems.
So whoever needs to activate Bitlocker with the G11VN, use this BIOS update and it should
work just fine.

I don't get it: Sony sells the Vaio G11 series as a business laptop but they don't seem to care too much about the Bitlocker bug. Sony Asia has the BIOS update already, why not Germany/Europe? Honestly, this is very likely the last business laptop I'm buying from Sony, the support sucks. I'm also using a HP nc2400 laptop with activated Bitlocker/TPM/Fingerprint sensor and since February 2007, no problems at all!
