Hallo! Ok I try it in english, but it will be not so perfect. My vaio, Vgna 115 and me, we want to have a little baby. 😉 But we don´t really know which one we should buy. An apple iPod or the new vaio pocket. We have the itunes to manage our music, because sonicstage is not really the best. But we like sony and vaio.....what shall we do? Can anybody help us?
Joe and his vaio.................
iPod anyday!
Easy to use, plays MP3 AAC and WAV and has better software than SonicStage
Yes - iPod all the way for the same reasons.
Woohoo we have an alliance !
My question, is why the ipod. The new vaio pocket seems to be cool and i thougth a sony user suports sony products, such as vaio pocket. I use itunes for a few weeks and its right cool, but when i use sonicstage, i am sure it will also cool. A friend have the ipod and an ibook and he sais that this is the only way. I think sony can be another way. What dió you think. I´m really not sure.
Joe
At the end of the day thats the choice you have to make. I love my iPod, being able to carry music in my pocket and enjoy music everywhere is just great.
If you hate DRM, go for iPod, if you like buying ATRAC music and ripping your own collection then VAIO pocket is your thing.
Read reviews, use them, see what makes you think "yes I want that"
I'm here to back up Sonic Stage. Since version 2, it's been incredibly stable, much faster and has unlimited checkouts.
I personally don't like the iPod because of the poor battery life, and in all honesty, I've found many other players which reproduce the sound much better than any iPod.
If you buy music online, then the iPod is the way to go, but if you buy CDs and rip them on your PC, it's very easy to rip them in MP3 format on something like iTunes, then import them into Sonic Stage when you want to put music on your player.
Personally, if I had the option, I'd get the Sony, for battery life and styling because I have no issues with any of the matters others have mentioned. If you use your music legally, DRM isn't an issue. I have 1 PC with all my music on it and one player. It's all mine, no problems.
As KeeLo said though, it's up to you...
Yeah it's all down to taste. The new iPod (4th gen) has better battery life and I think the sound is pretty good - depends on what headphones you use too.
I would go with the Sony:
1. it's Sony;
2. Don't buy music on the web - CD's only;
3. It's Sony;
4. Better battery life;
5. It's Sony
Simple :smileygrin:
*tuts* shameless selling....
