K215S FAN IS ALWAYS RUNNING

I bought my vaio just two days ago.
Since the beginning I have had this problem.
Fan run almost every minute. Even when I am surfing on internet.
Actually, I do not know if this is a problem or not.
How often Should the fan run ?

Mine runs all the time, I think it's normal.

On most systems the fan runs constantly. The fan speed will normally increase when the system is under load. I don't think you have a problem.

It's quite reasuring when the fan is running tbh.

If the fan stops long enough for you to actually notice the silence then start looking for somewhere to give mouth to........whatever. It's normal as the guys say.

I remember on my desktop one of the fans stopped, so I had to turn it by hand until I saved and switched off.

There is a setting in Power Options, Control Panel, VAIO Power Management, for Thermal Control - Performance mode = fan speed is faster and more noticeable, Quiet Mode = fan on but spinning silently or quietly.
