Hi there I have a 4 yr old Sony viao (model SVE151G11M) and a while ago it started to turn on roughly 20% of the time it'd eventually decide to start. The rest the the green lights would start along with the fan and that's it, no screen, nothing. And it'll stay like this for hours or until the battery ran out if it was unplugged.
In the end I gave up and didn't use it for a good 9 month. Finally decided to tackle the problem. And now the fan doesn't even start!
So far I've taken the battery out drained the charge and used the power lead without the battery. Reseated the ram, and even tried opening the dvd draw as someone else suggested and still nothing.
Can someone help please!!
