Memory Stick PRO not recognised (VGN-A497XP)

I have last night purchased a Memory Stick PRO 256MB for my new SONY Cyber-shot. My VAIO VGN-A497XP however does not recognise the MemoryStick, and asks for disk to be inserted into Drive E:
What do I need to do?
