Missing T key!

Missing T key!

Ok, this might not be a usual query but here's the story...

One night while I was doing an essay, I spilt water all over my laptop! When I pressed one key it randomly did loads, I panicked and thought the laptop was ruined!

So...stupidly, I got a knife or something to try and lift a few keys up to try and dry it out... well the T key came off... and then wouldn't go back on, the metal that supports it snapped.

Now I have no T key, just a rubber thing which can be pressed to make the T. lol... But it makes my laptop look ugly!

Has anyone had a similar experience? How easy will it be to get fixed and what sort of price am I looking at?

The reason I'm asking here is because I can't seem to find any information of this type of damage around the sony support. Where should I be contacting?

Much thanks!!! Hopefully my Vanessa Vaio can look pretty again. haha

Although i didn't spill anything on my laptop, my fn key came loose on my s1xp as one of the supports snapped off. Unfortunately my warranty has run out. So as with nick, any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, does this require an active warranty? If not, do you know how much they cost if you can order them?

Cheers

Probably but I'm not sure, you could try contacting them and see what they say...

You may also be able to purchase replacement keys from
Nexttronics a US based company, but again I'm not sure...
