i am looking for a motherboard for my son pcg-fr415b

This is probably going to be an uneconomical repair unless you can find someone selling a second hand PCG-FR. Somewhere like e-Bay may be worth a look.

If you want to buy a new component, the only place I know is in the US - however, they will ship parts abroad and several members here have used them.

Try NEXTTRONICS - they do not actually list your model and you may need to telephone or e-mail them.
