when trying to get onto the work network, my colleague uninstalled the internet protocol in the options part. How do I reinstall this as I dont have the discs for it.

Hi emmeff and welcome to Club Vaio.

Assuming that you are using your Local Area Connection to access your work network, go to Control Panel > Network Connections > right click on your connection and select Properties.

On the General tab click on install, select Protocol in the next window and click Add. Click Have Disk.

In the Copy manufacturer's files from box, type C:\Windows\inf.
In the list of available protocols, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click OK.
You will then need to restart your computer.
