NEW INSTALLATION

Hi all,

I hope someone can help me. We have bought a VGN-S1XP. As we are a company, we have reinstalled the OS (Win XP Pro)

After installing SP2 and the necessary Sony drivers and utilis, I am unable to use the Bluetooth function.

Everything looks fine... No conflicts in Device Manager, the bluetooth icon appears in the Icon Tray, etc... but when I start Bluespace, there is a message on the main screen that says: "Bluetooth power is off. Please turn it on". Of course, it is turned on, and the bluetooth LED is also on.

Is there a step-by-step guide ?

Thank you,

Eric.

if you can find the LAN option in the system tray, then you can enable bluetooth if you want to turn it on. i think.

I would remove Bluespace and try SP2s built-in support for Bluetooth. I assume you have downloaded and installed any applicable updates from www.vaio-link.com

Bluespace NE is rubbish compared to SP2s functions.
