Sorry about the delay, some posts can go missed, this forum is
very busy at the best of times - best to be patient - it can take several days for a response.
Anyway. The software you need is either on the main Palm CD or the Utility CD (but I am going on the fact I have a Palm m130 handheld - not a Clie PEG-N770E - but I'm sure the software is practically identical). The software is called "PocketMirror" and is made by Chapura. If you dont get a response during setup about your preferences, then you should be able to change them from the desktop with the "Chapura Settings" link.
Make sure your name is correct and click the settings button. From there ensure that each "Outlook" item reads "Outlook Overwrites Handheld" if you use Outlook more than your handheld, "Synchronise" if you want both updated and "Handheld Overwrites Outlook" for if you want the handheld to overwrite the computer.
Next, run Palm Hotsync Manager (or your Sony-provided equivalent), right click the icon, and click Custom. Make sure these settings match those chosen earlier in the Chapura Settings program.
