playing dvds through tv

how do I play dvd`s through my tv from a vaio vgc-v3m

There's no TV out, you'd have to buy a USB TV card which has TV out

Thank you for answering my query - I thought there was not a TV out but didn`t know where to look? How do you use the card? Do they come with explanations?Do I have to get a special lead to allow me to use a usb port?
I am a bit green with computers!

Hi

Yeah I had a look on Sony Style just to double check, and they say no TV out.

A USB card just connects to your USB port, then a cable from TV out goes to the TV and you can watch movies on the bigger screen.

I found this card which has TV-Out - you can get it in the UK right here

Not sure where you can get it in the Eurozone
