Please help me! Can't transfer music no more!

Not sure if it's hardware or software. I put in on the docking bay, with my computer on and then switch the vaio. Everything seems normal and my computer makes the noise to show that a new hardware device has been connected. However the 'VAIO music transfer' program says there is no device connected, is it a hardware or software problem?!? Its really annoying, please help!!!!

Have you upgraded your VP, and what version of 'VAIO music transfer' are you using? You must upgrade both the VP firmware as well as 'VAIO music transfer' to V1.2, as if it is still V1.1 then it will not work with XP.

Go to control panel then select Add New Hardware. Follow the wizard and everytthing should work fine. If it doesnt, try reinstalling the drivers available at VAIO-Link
