I bought a Vaio VGN-FE21H the last week and for the moment everything works ok, but I have a problem with wifi. Sometimes when I start windows or when the notebook hibernate, it don't find my favourite connection. I don't know if I have a problem in my unit or it's a usual problem in this type. I have another PC, a desktop, and it's connected with wifi and with this computer when I start windows I don't any problem, allways connect at the first time.
Thank you.
Welcome to the forum,
Mmmm the system sounds like it has latency or lossey and needs some conditioning. Use this program .Tuneup Utilities and optomize your connection and do all it reccommends and give it repeated defrags till it defrags in about 30 seconds then once a week to condition the hard drive to read faster
Also Blenco suggested this:
Have you tried increasing the WiFi performance to Maximum?
Start>Right-click on My Computer>Properties>Device Manager
Expand Network Devices and double click on your wireless adapter, Under Power Options choose Maximum Performance,
I have installed TCPOptimizer, and I have increased the performance of my wifi card to maximum.
Best regards.
My problem it isn't solved. Anyone have an idea?
