Hi there!!
This is my first thread, becauese i just bought my BX197XP. I have some problem with this notebook, but the biggest one is to connect it on external display!
When i connect it (with standard VGA connector, analog) to my HP TFT 20 inch monitor, i get very blurry display. I am using 1600x1200 resolution, but i tried also another ones, it's the same!
I tried almost everything, and asked a couple of guys, who said they know someting about notebooks.
I changed the cable, looked every option in the software (catalyst control center), installed drivers of HP, an reinstalled drivers of my videocard.
The only thing left is to reinstall windows, but i am not sure if it would help me.
The guys who sold me this notebook, tried on 1024x768 (or similar), and it was ok the picture. I tried also on HP 21 inch CRT monitor, and it was ok.
But on Samsung 19 inch CRT the picture is also blurry.
I asked also the people of sony (technical support), they don't know what to do.
Has anyone any idea? I thougt it could be something wrong with the HP 20 inch TFT, but i tried it with some older Dell notebook, and the picture was great on 1600x1200 pixels.
