Problems with the display (x-black) at PCG-GRT996VP

Hi,
i got problems with my display at my PCG-GRT996VP. I bought the notebook last month and now the display is on the top of the left side brighter than at the rest of the display. Has anybody else same problems? Should i call up the warranty? It would be nice, if anybody could help me! THANKS!!!

It is nearly the forth of the display. Have you got the same problem?

I don;'t have GRT, but if thats the case then contact Sony on their phone support line listed on www.vaio-link.com
