I want to upgrade the RAM of my VGN-FS285H, i know that the one used now is a DDR. and i want also to use a DDR2 RAM. so that's the subject: is the VGN-FS285H platform compatible with the DDR2 memories?

DDR2 modules are not backwards compatible with DDR modules. The notch on DDR2 module is in a different position to those on a DDR module..
