replacing the harddisk

Hi there.

I could use some help from the forum.
i've got a pretty old pcg-gr214mp with 20GB of space.
now i want to replace that hitachi harddisk with a faster and bigger one.
the size (9.5 mm) is compatible, but i don't know if there will be any problems with the bios (32GB hurdle!).
Did anyone try this already?
What about the power supply?
I've downloaded the bios upgrades from vaio-link, though i don't know what the are for, it isn't documented.

would be pleased, if somebody could help me

I think you should be fine getting a bigger disk.
