On this picture you can see the problem.
It's a normal for Screen VAIO "FE-11sr" notebook, or I need to send it in the Service for repairing? This PC on Warranty till April 2007.
Thanks for help in advance
I listed from Forum to another and some users has the same problem. They said that this is a X-BRIGHT technology.
The lamps installed on lower side of the screen and it's a normal situation for some SONY notebooks. Not sure that in Austria the Service is available for VAIO notebooks.
May crappy old VAIO has an X-Black screen too. It's about 3 years old and without that problem.:smileyconfused:
See, Kee was right
My Vaio (FE11S) has that issue. It's a slight, very slight shadowing in the lower corners of the screen only visible under certain circunstances (totally black or totally white screen). It's normal, not sure wether that's an issue of the dual bright-whatever technology but it's normal, just product of how the lighting of the screen was set up. There's no perfect screen - I'm also using an expensive 20" inches iMac duo core and it has way more noticeable bright corners (the 4 of them) when the screen is totally black. Also, other screens I've got at home show some kind of imperfection. As long as you don't have any fixed pixel, you can be grateful for your screen...
Yes, some guys told me the same. Another problem is knoks from HDD, but this is another story.
THANX!
