I use a vaio note book VGN-S4HP/B which came in Spanish. Could some one help me with a recovery DVD-Rom in english version. I shall be delighted. I only understand english language.
The bad news is Sony don't do recovery DVDs in different languages.
Well I'm afraid you are stuck with the spanish version as each unit is regional. I'm sure if you ask VaioLink they may be sympathetic and reset you machine and sell you an English recovery Disk for 54 pounds. I speak Portuguese which is practically Spanish so I can gety by on both. Go to http://www.altavista.com and click on the translate button. For terms like 'Open' = 'abierto', New = nuevo, Close = cierre, reformat=cambie formato and so on. Or get a english/spanish dictionary if you can't stay online
i think you must upgrade your windows with your Windows XP CD
or install new windows ... so you will lost your all Vaio Softwares
