Sony Firmware Extension Parser driver Windows VISTA ultimate

wondering where i can get the 

Sony Firmware Extension Parser driver from for windows vista, on a sony vaio VGN-FE41M when i try and download it from the official sony site it says not compatable for your type of windows, i have windows vista ultimate.

anyone know any ideas where is safe to download it?

I have downloaded the file from the sony website for a VGN-FW31J but it doesnt contain an exe file...so impossible to run it?!

Have you read all this discussion from the top?  The instructions to install SFEP from within Device Manager are given in the first few posts (Post No 4 on Page 1).
