Special Buttons do not work after Update

After download and install the bios, special buttons ( open DVD - player) do not work. What do I have to do ?

What for a Vaio model do you have?
What for an update did you install exactly?
Have you tried to reinstall the sony utilities and libaries?

Go to Vaio-link and download the utilites pack.
