special keys

I formated my notebook with all data!now my special fn keys(for brightness or volume) and s buttons,or the mouse scoll does not work any more!i downloaded the driver for my model,but i don't know what to install for mouse or keypad...

Welcome to the Forum.

You need to run the utilities folder. C:\Utils.

You can also download the original utilities pack from Vaio-Link.

ok,thanks,i downloaded utils from vaio-link,i installed all utils but i still can't find fn buttons neither mouse scroll!what do i have to install next,or where can i find the settings...thanks

Hi andrei_decembrie’

The utilities need to be installed in a set sequence and for the Fn keys to work three utilities are required.

1 Sony Utilities (install folder 1)
2 Sony shared Library (install folder 2)
3 Vaio Event Service ( you have not stated your model but this should be found in install folder 5, 6 or 7)

Install these this order and then re-boot – you may find that you have to repeat this process a couple of times before the Fn keys will work.
