Hi all,
I was looking to user my VP and cradle as a stereo in my room so I can leave all my CDs downstairs in the lounge and MP3s on the PC. I need to buy speakers. I was thinking of £50-£100 on a 5.1 setup (effectively computer speakers). Are cables on these all standard i.e. will fit the line out in the VP cradle? My PC speakers fit this line out connection.
Any advice on this would be greatly received. If anyone has any experience on this issue and how successful/easy it was please reply.
Many thanks and kind regards
IGG
Although I don't own a pair myself - these are supposed to be quite good.
The reviews attached to the product seem to bear this out.

If you want to go up a notch , some of the Bose speakers systems (designed for PCs) are very good.

The line out socket and cable is pretty standard - but I'm a bit mysified why you want a 5.1 setup for the out put of the VP which is in stereo.
My advice would to be buy the best PAIR of active (ie amplified ) speakers you can.
oh i didnt know the tech wouldnt be approp to have a 5.1 setup. I justy liked the idea of have a sub-woofer and added speakers. so im looking for powerful pc speakers that deliver sound in stereo. all of those should have the same line in connection?
