starting my vaio

I have a vaio vgn a215z and I have a problem when i turn on the computer (in orde to solve it i sent it to the warranty service but it seems like if the problem is still there). The problem is that almost all the time i want to start the computer it appears the vaio logo and after it a black screen having on the top of the left side of the screen a little white line flashing all the time and the computer doesn't start. In order to start it i need to press the ctrl+alt+cancel many times. Now i am thinking to send it back to the warranty service but before i do it again maybe you have a solution for it. Anyway i have the feeling the computer i have is a real bad machine. In the reparation they changed everything, motherboard, harddisk, etc. etc. and the problem is still there.

any idea what to do before i send it back to the warranty service?

I would certainly send it back again.

However, have you tried loading Windows in Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly when you see the Vaio logo and select Safe Mode)?

You could also try a system recovery with your disks or recovery partition but the chances are that this has already been carried out by support after they replaced the various components.
