Strange output through tv

I have just bought a lead to put my A115Z through my tv. However, when I plug it in I get a very distorted image through the tv. You can just about make out the picture but it is all over the place( kind of severly wobbly like it needs tuning in) I have tried it on my other tv with the same problem. The output is fine if I put it through a computer monitor. Any suggestions?

It's also possible to add a ferrite core to any transmission cable if there is an interference problem. They are available at Maplin

It is best to have a ferrite core at each end of the cable and as close to the connector as possible.
