TX1XP Screen - "grainy display"

Just taken delivery of a new TX1XP. Is it just me or is the screen display not as good as the T1XP (which i had until it was recently stolen).

Not technical but the display seems slightly "grainy" when displaying large expanses of uniform colour. This effect is most apparent when displaying large expanses of light coloured areas. I know the TX1XP uses a different LCD technology to the T1XP but didn't expect this level of degradation.

Is it just like this or do i have a faulty display?

I know this probably is stupid but did you clean the screen?

Try to reinstall system (dont forget to back up your data)

Yes the display is grainy. Its due to the new lighting system that this screen uses. The advantage is very low power consumption (which helps give hte 5 hours run time), but the downside is the grainy appearance. You do get used to it after a while. It's a minor problem to me, unlike the fan noise however.
